How to Upload and Add Images in WordPress Using Elementor

Elementor makes adding images to your pages and posts easy with its drag-and-drop interface. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Log in to Your WordPress Admin Dashboard

Step 2: Open the Page or Post with Elementor

  • In the WordPress Dashboard, go to Pages or Posts.

  • Find the page or post you want to edit.

  • Click Edit with Elementor.

Step 3: Drag and Drop the Image Widget

  • Once the Elementor editor opens, look for the Image widget on the left-hand panel.

  • Drag the Image widget and drop it into the section where you want the image to appear.

Step 4: Upload or Choose an Image

  • After placing the Image widget, click on the image placeholder.

  • Choose Upload Files to upload a new image from your computer.

  • Or select an image from your Media Library if it's already uploaded.

Step 5: Adjust Image Settings (Optional)

  • Once your image is added, you can customize:

    • Image Size (Thumbnail, Medium, Large, or Custom).

    • Alignment (Left, Center, Right).

    • Caption (optional, if you want to display a short description).

    • Link (you can link the image to a page, media file, or custom URL).

Step 6: Save Your Changes

  • After placing and adjusting your image, click the Update button at the bottom of the Elementor panel to save your changes.

📋 Quick Tips:

  • Optimize image size before uploading to help your page load faster.

  • Use Alt Text for better SEO and accessibility (you can set this in the Media Library before inserting the image).

  • Use Columns and Padding in Elementor if you want more control over the image positioning.
